Alzawrae has a molasses factory plant called (MAZAYA) that uses a mechanized portable conveyor dedicated for transferring high quality tobacco flaks from bulky cartoons to flavors mixers carefully without causing crashes for the tobacco flakes! This mechanism achieved required safe transportation for tobacco flakes; However, it produces very fine dust with acute-smell that harts the operators and cause a lot of miss due to precipitated dust-powder at the floor surrounding work-place adjacent to the machine.

M&I Est. main goal was to design, manufacture and install an (efficient fine-dust remover mechanism), to be affixed over an existing portable conveyor machine, in such a way that fine dust is removed totally (especially acute-smell that causes coughing), as well as, eliminate precipitated yellow-dust-powder at shop-floor!

M&I team started to take exact dimensions of existing portable machine on-spot and then manufacture a duct-work-piece tailored to suck developed fine dust from all directions and rout it to a 10” flexible hose and then to multi stage cartridge filter then to fine bag filter through an in-line fan selected carefully to overcome static pressure and allow suitable flow enough to suck fine dust but not tobacco flakes.

Dust remover system was tested and commissioned successfully with full satisfaction of end-client. Thanks to M&I Mechanical and Electrical teams who worked jointly until achieving optimal solution for this critical challenge.
