(IBC grope) chose (M&I Est.) to design, manufacture, install and commission 150mm diameter spouting pipes for transferring flour by gravity to/from newly installed BUHLER vibro-sifting machine for the sake of (Jordan Silos &Supply General Co. – Juwaideh Mills).
Main challenge was to design and manufacture the spouting pipes and its fittings e.g. (universal-joints, segments, symmetrical-cones, hand-hole … etc.) locally and during less than one week.
Gravity spouting fittings are available within international market but with three months lead time. Therefore, M&I team developed a new technique for jointing local-made fittings and named it (Polarized Flanging System) in such a way that have same rotating flexibility of prevailing tension rings adopted internationally in all similar applications.
Polarized Flanging System gave even more flexibility pertaining tilting and even tensioning of sub-assemblies of spouting works. M&I was forced to devise such new technique due to unavailability of production machines which is dedicated for manufacturing renown tension rings, and a above all stringent time available to conclude this job.
Thanks to M&I team who succeeded to undertake this challenge (design and manufacture locally) and hand over a fully functional system to IBC as well as to the end client and within permissible short time to conclude everything …let us review some photos!
