This device designed to be used with each FACP (Fire Alarm Control Panel), security system, life safety system or with any vital system in such a way that grants feeding it with electrical power directly from the line-side (point of power connection with the service provider) before any sub distribution panel or load-center breakers. This is to avoid disconnecting electrical power at this system intentionally or unintentionally.
Each device will be tagged / have a unique caption showing which FACP it is feeding, to ease first time installation, testing process, operation and of course maintenance issues then after.
Suitable for any life safety system installed within commercial complexes, malls, housings, hotels, hospitals … etc.
Remember this good practice – always feed each FACP from line side (before any Miniature Circuit Breaker MCB), not from load side (after MCB)!
That is why you need use Fire Alarm Disconnect Switch.
