Elevated water tanks usually have mechanical level ruler with pointer to show liquid level inside the elevated tank directly. Reading should not rely on electrical source and must be read easily from relatively far a way distance from elevated tank location – especially for firefighting brigade or operation & maintenance crew.
International markets offer mechanical level indicators with inversely proportional reading. Whilst, in M&I we offer a mechanical level indicator with (DPR) directly proportional reading i.e. if water level within tank raised 10cm, the red marker at outside ruler will raise exactly 10cm and from down to up not in reverse as per international mechanical indicators!
