Monitoring underground fuel tanks is essential, especially large-size ones. Capacitive-type cables are usually harnessed for this purpose by installing underneath the tanks to be monitored. In Mastering & Innovation Est. we have succeeded to produce a simple, economical and effective system for oil leak detection from underground diesel tanks.

Product Specification

Our master piece is the SFH (steel focal hub), with following main features:

All monitored area is focused to one spot (spills are directed to the detection chamber).
Effective & fast detection technique, few oil drips are enough to trigger the detection system , thanks to SFH and its collecting aperture with carefully designed angles.
System can detect storm water diffusion through another independent dedicated prob.
In case of deluge storm-water, oil leak detector will not be immersed! It will be floating at water surface. Likewise, in case of massive oil leak, oil leak detector will not be immersed! It will be floating at oil surface. Furthermore, even if oil and storm water massive leak took place simultaneously, detection function will keep working as (oil- stormwater mixture) will end up with oil as surface layer and storm water underneath! Hence, leak detection sensor will be floating above oil layer and yet work normally, thanks to floating mechanism comprising the detector.
Detection chamber can be checked (storm water or oil), inspected (height of oil leak if any) or cleaned (dirt, liquids) any time, thanks to the 250mm diameter accessible well.
After removing the oil detection set, small submersible pump could be lowered - inserted within the 250mm detection well - to pump out accumulated diffusion (storm water).
Total immersion hours could be read easily at the control panel to know for how long oil leak has persisted.
